On March 22, China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Talent Alliance (CBETA) "One School, One Character" Exchange Meeting was held at the University of Waikato Joint Institute at Hangzhou City University (NZUWI).
This exchange meeting gathered many representatives from CBETA: Zhang Rui, Vice Dean of the Cross-border E-business (CBE) College of Zhejiang Gongshang University, secretary-general of CBETA; Li Xiulin, Deputy Director of the Logistics Management and Engineering Department of CBE College of Zhejiang Gongshang University,Lu Junfeng, Dean of the School of Economics and Statistics of Zhejiang Gongshang University Hangzhou College of Commerce, Fang Meiyu, Vice Dean of the International Business School of Zhejiang International Studies University, Chen Juan and Han Jianya, teachers' representatives of the Zhejiang Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Zhang Cuiying, Associate Professor of Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power, Lei Huiying and Hong Chaojun, representatives of CBETA; Chen Changhong, CEO of Hangzhou Junguan Information Technology Co., Ltd.; Zhang Lei, Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Turno Network Technology Co., Ltd.; Luo Lifang, HR Supervisor of Hangzhou Hongjie Optoelectronic Equipment Co., Ltd. CBETA is an organisation created by the Hangzhou Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area and the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province. With the cooperation between the schools and enterprises ,integration of education and industry, promotion of industrial chains and platforms, and cultivation of applied talents as the starting point, it provides academic support and human resources for the acceleration of the high-quality development of China's cross-border e-commerce industry. Based on Industrial Demand and the practice of NZUWI applied talent educated mode , Shirley (He Min), the Executive Dean of NZUWI, introduced the general situation of the college and the long-term development of practice-based integration of industry and education with CBE enterprises. In addition, she introduced the practice based model, and the community model for the cultivation of application-oriented innovative talents of the cooperation between local government and school, as well as between school and enterprise, and international cooperation". This model enriches practical base for industry-education integration, a laboratory with the ability to diversify and refine its applications, and a "School-enterprise Collaboration, Ingenuity and Dreaming. Prosperity for the Future" integration of industry and education through practice brand, with characteristic class training projects, etc. Representatives of universities and enterprises discussed and exchanged views on the key points and difficulties in the collaborative training process of industry-education integration, hoping to strengthen communication, deepen cooperation in the future, and jointly contribute to the cultivation of cross-border talents.
Zhang Rui pointed out that NZUWI has many characteristics and highlights worth learning from in industry-education integration, school-enterprise cooperation, talent training mode, etc. She hoped that this event will be an opportunity to continually explore the industry-education integration in the future and will bring substantial applied exercise to students. The combination of teaching and talent training not only stimulates students' enthusiasm, but also achieves long-term cooperation with enterprises, giving full play to the effect of collaborative education. The attendees also visited the Global Cross-border E-commerce Brand and Design Innovation Center. Elle (Lu Wu), the Vice Dean of NZUWI, introduced in detail the practical exploration and reform results of additive manufacturing and digital human laboratory, digital acquisition laboratory, digital exhibition and cross-border brand live broadcast laboratory in cross-border e-commerce school-enterprise cooperation. |
