On the morning of 22nd May, the global volunteer recruitment event for the Hangzhou Asian Games was held at Zhejiang University City College. 110 volunteers carefully selected by NZUWI made a spectacular appearance in the recruitment event. Together with volunteers from other colleges, they showed the vibrant style of contemporary university students.

The volunteers listened to a special lecture by the volunteer ambassador Bai Yansong. " Demand, equality, naturalness, and contributing to volunteerism more consciously and actively", Mr. Bai conveyed the essence of volunteerism in simple and friendly language, and inspired the students to think further about volunteer work.

In order to cooperate with the University's work and ensure that the volunteers successfully complete this task, NZUWI has carried out careful selection, training, and mobilisation in advance. In accordance with the  University's selection requirements, NZUWI has carefully carried out the selection and mobilisation, formulated the principles of selection, and ensured that every volunteer is an elite. The counselor, Mr. Zhao Yawei, led the artistic cadre to organise specific training, learn to sing the volunteer song, and conduct simulated exercises of on-site gestures. He also led the volunteers to participate in the rehearsal of various sessions organised by the University.

To ensure the best result, NZUWI organised a mobilisation meeting at 8:30 pm on 20th May. Wang Liuying, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch of NZUWI, encouraged students to participate in the event with the most serious attitude and strictly obey the on-site command, and participate in it with the most enthusiastic host and give a good impression to students from other universities.
