NZUWI Team Once Again Promoted to the Top Six of CFA Global Investment Analysis Challenge in Shanghai

Tonight, good news came from CFA Institute Research Challenge 2020 which is an annual global investment event challenge. After NZUWI took part in the gold rich competition for the first-time last year and entered the top six, the NZUWI team successfully won the top six of Shanghai 2020 in the same stage competition with many "985", "211" and "double first-class" universities in East China.

There are 14 colleges and universities in East China, such as Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Finance and economics, Shanghai University of foreign trade and economic cooperation, Ningbo University of Nottingham, and the United College of Waikato University of Zhejiang University City College. Unlike other colleges and universities, team members are composed of graduate students and senior undergraduates, represented by NZUWI the team consists of five finance major students from the class of 2018, with foreign teacher Awais Gulzar as the guide.

Introduction of the competition

CFA Institute Research Challenge is an all English analytical and research competition for financial majors in the world’s top colleges and universities. The college students invited to participate in the competition will conduct research and analysis on a listed company in the competition, show their ability to write reports and speeches. The winner will be judged by the best implementation method of stock research and company analysis in the competition.

This year is the 12th CFA investment analysis challenge held in Shanghai, China, with 14 universities from East China participating.
