"Colleges and universities should combine the actual situation of the university with different characteristics of different majors, grades and courses to formulate different on-line teaching plan. The teaching plan "We should not only make clear the contents and methods of the current online teaching, but also constantly explore the combination of classroom teaching and online education after the start of school. Not only can we require all teachers to make live classes, but also we need to promote the sharing of online teaching resources and the innovation of education and teaching methods. Under the unified arrangement of ZUCC, NZUWI has been providing online courses for a week. How did the teachers and students reflect? Let’s take a look!

 

In the first week of the teaching week, there are 24 courses in NZUWI, 144 classes successfully carry out online teaching, of which 4 courses (3 Chinese teachers + 1 foreign teacher) adopted online live teaching mode; 2 courses (Chinese teachers) adopted video-recording teaching mode, and the remaining 18 courses are all provided by foreign teachers. Due to international links or other reasons such as time differences, the audio (video) and teaching materials are uploaded on BB platform, and students downloaded them on time to complete their learning tasks. At present, all courses have completed the first week of teaching tasks according t-o the teaching plan.

 

 


Students’ opinions on online learning

Internet-based learning is a new mode, which integrates teaching resources and social software flexibly, so as to shift the learning center from "teacher, classroom" to "learner, curriculum" and is student centered, to maximize their independent initiative. The first week of Internet based teaching was conducted by NZUWI.

I feel that online classes are good in general.

 

1Recording and broadcasting class has high flexibility, and you can study based on your own time schedule;

 

2The learning context of the course is clearer and BB platform is used efficiently. All course plans and course profiles have been uploaded to BB platform, and the understanding of the whole course is more comprehensive than before;

 

3The classroom atmosphere of the live class is very good. During the teaching process, the teacher intersperses questions and interacts in the nail comment area. After class, there is also time for answering questions and quizzes. All of these effectively helped me to maintain a high level of concentration during the course of watching live courses

1For the platform, the overall function of the Dingtalk platform is relatively perfect, but the disadvantage is that occasionally there will be network connection problems during live broadcast, which will affect the course progress. The course reminder setting function in BB platform seems to be further strengthened, and it is recommended that the discussion panel add the editable and changeable function after release.

 

2For online courses, in fact, they have given themselves greater learning space. The online courses of the exhibition specialty are highly specialized and meet difficulties. You can choose to play and consolidate the knowledge points again through the platform, and then expand the learning based on your own actual situation, and customize the learning schedule.

3It can greatly improve the ability of time management and self-study.

 


Experience sharing

Internet-based learning is an open way of learning. Classrooms are not limited by time and venue, learning materials rely on the Internet, learning mode can be customized according to demand. When we are meeting the opportunities and challenges brought by internet-based learning, keep an open and positive attitude. Students in NZUWI use their one week conclusion to build stones for everyone to cross the river and add value to the real value of "no suspension of study" in such challenging circumstances.

1Learning according to the schedule and ensuring normal work and rest is the premise of efficient learning at home. Frequently logging into BB platform to check out important notices, Download slides related to the course in advance for preview, keep class notes synchronized with class thinking, and review after class with notes and course materials.

 

2The use of social software can't be avoided in the learning of online courses. It is suggested to use two electronic devices. One for daily communication and entertainment, one for learning.

 

3Take a close look at the outline of each course, and input the time of test, group assignment, display, etc. into the schedule to keep in mind.

1Make full use of the course materials provided on the BB platform for self-study, and be good at finding problems.
